We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and results-driven individual to join the IT team in partnering the business to deliver its objectives.
Reporting to the Business Technology Manager, you will provide first level support to the business on issues relating to PC set-up, software distribution, mail services, Navision and Internet access. Additional responsibilities will include:
Logging all Helpdesk calls into the support database system by priority and actions calls in a timely manner;
Reviewing documentation of previous user queries and relevant solutions to provide timely advice in similar matters;
Providing training and regular updates to PC users on new or upgraded hardware or software;
Assisting with IT implementation and upgrade projects; and
Various documentation tasks.
Our successful candidate will have experience in customer service and will be able to demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in IT. Certificate IV in an IT related course, sound knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products including Windows XP, MS-Office 2007, Microsoft SMS, Citrix Management Console and familiarity with Windows Active Directory is required.
