A lot of my friends have asked me what book to pick for extensive reading that's relatively short, written in modern English, contains vocabulary related to all sorts of topics and, most importantly, is a fun read. It's just dawned on me that there is such a book in existence: Freakonomics by Levitt Steven. I read it in Italian and Japanese when I was trying to expand my passive vocabulary in these languages. Just thought I'd share this with you all.
