Сегодня с утра проверяя почту наткнулся на такое вот письмецо:

Every year certain number of people are selected through our electronic ballot system for resettlement by Australia Government as part of support to some Countries.
Please confirm receipt of this notification, by responding immediately. So that we can forward the relevant requirements.

Судя по всему мошенники решили выступить в стиле Грин кард Обратите внимание на адрес отправителя @immigovaus.com.au.pn - похож на официальный, но не он. Интересно, кто нибудь еще получал подобные письма?

P.S. У меня лично висит в очереди EOI по 489й визе спонсорство родственниками.

Многие получали (не с этого форума). Читал о таких письмах на сайтах миграции - они предупреждали о фроде такого плана.

.pn email address scam

Be aware of scam emails being sent from email addresses ending in '.pn' and claiming to be from the department or another Australian Government agency. We have not sent these emails and these are not genuine departmental email addresses.

An example scam email address is '[email protected]'

The scam uses multiple email addresses, but the common feature is the '.pn' ending. Also be cautious of job offers that instruct you to contact the department through an email address that ends in '.pn'. Our genuine email addresses do not end in '.pn'.

The scam will direct you to pay through a Western Union money transfer. We will not ask for a payment directly to the department through Western Union. Also be aware that we do not offer a 'resettlement programme' through unsolicited emails or an 'electronic ballot'.
