Hi, mates!!! Sorry, I don't have russian keyboard here. Just droped to say Hello to everyone and to announce that today was my first working day. I got job after two weeks from arrival day. It is not qualified and it is only for two monthes, however it is paid 30 dollars per hour + 50 dollars each day to buy food + free accomodation. One more important thing is that I get a chance to talk with natives in my team all days long, 'cause everbody excluding me is aussie I work on Moto GP circuit (Phillip island) - it is so beautiful here!!

Everithing is fine. We like Australia very much. So far I've encountered only good people here. By the way, food is very good and I like local bear - Viktoria Bitter "rulit"!

We live in Hampton - very nice neighborhood! LOTS of awesome parks, our 16-monthes old son is very happy here.
First two days here - it was a disaster! I was shocked, longing to go back to Ukraine, to relatives and friends. But as time went by I was getting used to Australia. Now, I'm looking forward to find a good job and unless aliens invade Australia we're gonna live here and enjoy this country

а вот непростой вопрос публике. у меня супруга решилась поменять фамилию.
У нас сейчас назначен офицер, есть два варианта:
1. Сейчас подать заявление на смену фамилии, потом смену паспорта внутреннего - это займет месяца полтора-два. К тому времени, возможно, будет готово решение от офицера. И сразу после него с визой меняем загран.паспорт. Виза же остается действующей с новым заграном? Надо ли посылать формы об изменении до смены загранпаспорта?
2. Сделать все действия уже после решения. Вопрос все равно остается тем же - как перенести визу в новый загран?

какой вариант выбрать?

Обычно, при замене паспорта, надо просто брать с собой оба паспорта (старый и новый).
