GIS ADMINISTRATOR
Salary range $54,507 - $56,816 Ref No. 06/668
Is GIS your thing?
The GIS Administrator will develop and maintain Council’s geographic information system and manage Council’s GIS data strategies and policies.
Your day will consist of maintaining our GIS systems, developing layers for desktop and mobile solutions, diagnosing GIS user problems, providing advice to staff on GIS solutions and assisting in the management of GIS and other data related to Council’s asset management system.
Your analytical skills and ability to explain complex and sophisticated concepts in a logical manner will be an asset in this position.
A qualification in GIS management and/or GIS applications is highly desirable. Proven experience in MapInfo Professional and MapInfo Exponare is also highly desirable.
