This broad challenging role requires someone who is genuinely excited about developing
elegant and scalable solutions by:
Working on multiple projects involved in technical/customer requirements gathering,
design, implementations and application configuration
Supporting customers throughout the implementation process
Developing customised software solutions using appropriate development methodologies
Working in a test driven development environment
Documenting all development work/processes
Investigating, selecting and integrating the most suitable technology into software products
Responsibilities - Skills and knowledge we value:
Advanced OO/PHP skills
3+ years of commercial programming experience in PHP
Intermediate to expert JavaScript skills
Strong XML/XHTML/CSS skills
Database Design/Abstraction/MYSQL
Experience in developing on the LAMP Stack
Understanding of product development life cycle and QA processes
Desirable but not mandatory
Experience with version control (SVN/CVS/Git)
Previous experience with PHP MVC framework (Zend/Symfony/CakePHP)
*nix Administration experience
