Senior Sun Solaris Administrator - Contract Position

ITMS enables companies to transform their services business delivery model for increased IT flexibility, scalability, predictability and security. ITMS utilises the principles embodied in the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) to manage people, processes and technology to deliver value to customers.
As part of our expansion and with some significant project work on the horizon we currently seek a Senior Solaris System Administrator. The key to success in this role will be strong skills and experience in the following:
SUN Solaris v9.0 and v10.0
Storage
Disk Suite
Veritas
Perl and Shell scripting
Sendmail
DNS
Having significant exposure to HPUX, AIX and Debian Linux will be an advantage.
Ideally you will have experience working within a 24 x 7 rotational on call environment and the ability to travel to client sites as required. Any experience working with HP ServiceGuard, HP LVM and Tivoli Storage Manager will also be highly regarded.
The technical environments you will be working in will be predominantly Sun E10K and M series, and will also include HP cluster and single servers, Debian on Dell servers and IBM P570.
You will also be actively involved in high profile project work and system upgrades on an as required basis. You will be required to attend customer meetings to support their needs and to assist in project work as required.
Certifications:
Sun Certified System Administrator for Solaris (preferred)
Qualifications and Experience:
A degree in Computer Science or a related field. A minimum of five years Sun Solaris experience.
