Senior Warehouse Specialist
Are you ready for a high-profile position that will give you the autonomy and support you need to expand your expertise and design new business reporting developments and improvements? If so, come and join our consistently evolving data warehouse and gain great exposure to advanced reporting and business intelligence applications.
You'll be responsible for the Direct Insurance (DI) data warehouse and the Personal Insurance Manufacturing data warehouse, supporting claims and assessing business intelligence needs. You'll oversee database design and data models of the warehouse, maintenance, standards, performance tuning and refresh processes.
You'll fit right in to our young, friendly and tight-knit team; approaching problems collaboratively and managing beneficial relationships with key web database stakeholders, users and vendors.
To succeed, you will have:
• Tertiary qualifications in computing
• Data warehouse experience involving database administration, data modelling and Oracle or DB2
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in Business Intelligence software, such as Cognos and SAS (desirable)
• Web database development skills in .net applications,
• Experience with SQL
• Reporting experience using Cognos applications
