Project Engineer- Civil to work on design co-ordination, preparation of specifications, procurement and technical support to construction of Balance of Plant (BOP) for a gas fired power station in WA.
Duties include:
Co-ordinate for construction design and technical specifications for foundations and structures for BOP equipment.
Obtain quotes, prepare purchase orders and follow up contracts with sub-contractor and vendors
Prepare ITPs, checksheets and provide technical support to site teams during the construction.
Liaise with client representatives and other stakeholders as needed
Essential
Engineering Degree, recognized in Australia
Approx 5 years of local experience as a professional engineer in a project environment, including on site supervision of civil contractor work on excavations and foundations.
Working knowledge of AS standards, Wiring rules in particular
Desirable
Cost estimating, project scheduling and interfaces between mechanical and electrical installations
On offer is a hourly rate corresponding to skills and experience of a candidate, prominent project and opportunities for further development.
Office in North Sydney, travel to WA will required.
