Реально ли: Bachelor of IT в IEA?

А вот теперь я сижу и думаю, кем лучше подаваться
как Software Engineer или как telecommunications Engineer?

Сделай запрос с кратким описанием своей карьеры на [email protected]. У меня это заняло не более 2-х суток.

Так-то и я полгода летал в облаках, рассчитывая на IEA подтверждение, уже и черновики карьерных эпизодов начинал писать, и все образцы из песочницы пересмотрел. В принципе, я был готов к октазу на запрашиваемую позицию: "You would not be able to gain recognition as an Electronics Engineer with this qualification."
Вот чего я совсем не ожидал, так это: "...In fact given it is not an engineering degree and given your experience is in the field of computing - recognition in any engineering occupation is not possible."
То есть, неподкупное инженерское: "Пошёл на х.. и не приходи сюда снова!"

Интересно что ты там написал, почему они сказали про "your experience is in the field of computing"

Первое письмо от меня было примерно таким:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to know if it is possible to apply for the Electronics Engineer qualification
(2125-13) on state of my background.

My name is ... I have graduated from the ...
The Diploma Supplement title is Bachelor of Computer Science. Main fields of study for the
qualification: natural sciences, computer sciences, computer technologies in business
administration.

Full-time studies included a list of engineering-related subjects: Higher Mathematics,
Physics, Programming, Computer Systems Structure, Discrete Mathematics, Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics, Optimization Methods, Information Computer Networks,
Modelling of Systems, System Programming, Microprocessors and Microcomputers, etc.

I am employed now with ... as a System Administrator since March 2007.
My duties include: checking and monitoring networks, fixing basic PC issues, configuring
access levels and permissions, setting up backups, writing documents, running cables,
hardware upgrades, tech cleaning, air-conditioners operation, etc.

You have indicated the main fields of study of your degree as computer related and your work experience as a system administrator.

From the information you have provided it would appear that the relevant occupation would be Computer Professional. Please refer to the Skilled Occupation List on Department of Immigration & Citizenship for contact details of the relevant assessing authority.

The decision as to your nominated occupation for migration is however entirely yours. There are many migration issues related to your choice of occupation which you need to consider.

If you wish to refer to the definitions of occupations you will find them in the ASCO Dictionary on Australian Bureau of Statistics

Logically the nominated occupation should have a strong relationship to the specialisation of your undergraduate degree and to your professional work experience.

If you need further advice you may send copies of your qualifications (in particular the academic transcript) and your Resume.

Не ну ты не правильно написал про опыт работы.
Надо было говорить только об электрике, но никак не "as a System Administrator"

Так что перепиши карьерные эпизоды, оставь в них только все связаное с электроникой, что может быть инженерным. И конечно никаких System Administrator

Насчёт IEA. Меня не подтвердили с дипломом Bachelor of Applied Mathematics and Informatics. Вернее подтвердили, но дали не электроникс инженера, а инжиниринг технолоджиста (нек). Карьерные эпизоды у меня на 100% электронные. А вот список предметов не подошёл. Чтобы не повторять мои ошибки, ознакомьтесь с моим списком предметов в теме electronics engineer.
