Мы тоже надеялись, что по 300 визе можно бесплатно перевести документы. 
Обратились в АМЕС в Джилонге и там сказали, что только после получения 820 визы можно воспользоваться бесплатным переводом согласно перечню документов, указанному на сайте.
Там же мы взяли контакт агентства в Мельбурне, которое занимается переводами, в том числе для гос.органов. Они быстро откликнулись на наш емайл. Для перевода им необходимо выслать сертифицированную копию документа (т.е. заверенную в Суде или Полиции). Мы заверили документ (справку из полиции) в понедельник, выслали почтой во вторник и сегодня, в четрверг, уже получили емайл, что документ получен, уточнение, сколько это будет стоить (т.к. мы не знали будет ли это менее или более 100 слов). Завтра будем платить.
А документы на 820 визу мы отправили почтой тоже во вторник, оплатили 965,..дол. в понедельник через почту, и сегодня уже (четверг) тоже получили емайл и письмо, что документы приняты к производству.
На всякий случай привожу инфу по агентству и сообщение от них (мы интересовались относительно справки из полиции, свид. о рождении и двух свид. о разводе):
