Mindil Beach is near the Casino and the closest beach of good quality to the central part of Darwin. It starts about two kilometres from the city centre. If that is too far to walk, take a bus no. 4 or 6.

In the Dry Season, from May until October, this is the scene of a market every Thursday evening, specialising in food from many countries, reflecting the diverse ethnic origins of the residents of Darwin, but including many other wares and entertainments also. Swimming is safe in this beach except for the wet season when the box jelly fish are present.

Да нет, я хочу в Австралию. ))
У меня просто пес молодой, 2 года всего, не хочется его с родителями оставлять в России и одного в карантине на пол года бросать тоже не хочется. Единственный вариант это попытаться поехать куда ниб. ним вместе, где можно сдать его в карантин и хотя бы навещать. В UK/USA/Ireland мне работу найти легче.

Ну мысль конечно хорошая, вот только есть маленькая проблемка - собаки подлежат карантину на 6 месяцев при въезде в UK...

Я так поняла, что в UK собаку можно будет поместить в карантин прямо в London area. А этот же карантин, наверное и для австралии подойдет.
Я еще не искала инфу. Думала что времени еще полно.

И что? На всем севере есть опасность медуз. С ноября по апрель стоят сетки, в которых можно почти спокойно купаться.
Но человек то в августе-сентябре едет, вода должна быть классная.
