Так зачем Вы, нам тупым, что-то пытаетесь объяснить? Ну не получается у нас, хоть ты тресни. Сдать на 7 IELTS получается, а понять, что это разводняк - нет. Уж Вы простите великодушно, не разумеем.
Так может не стоить тратить своё время на этом форуме? Вы же видите - здесь одни тупые дегенераты собрались. Имейте же снисхождение к больным людям - оставьте в покое и идите с миром.

IELTS examiners may lose jobs as marking goes online

The written components of IELTS will now be assessed by independent contractors.

A decision by student services giant IDP Education to mark part of the IELTS English language tests online will force many current examiners out of work.

According to a confidential “information pack” circulated to IDP-run testing centres in Australia, the written components of IELTS will be assessed by independent home-based contractors using specially designed “MarkManager” software.

Current examiners will be forced to apply for the new positions and to have Australian Business Numbers, high-speed internet, dual-screen computers, home offices that meet occupational health and safety standards, and $1 million worth of professional indemnity insurance.

They must also be prepared to mark 50 written tests a day and to work at least six hours a day, three days a week for two weeks a month.

A current examiner, who asked not to be named, said many of his colleagues would not be able to meet the equipment requirements. Others would be forced out by specified workloads that were too heavy for English teachers seeking a little extra cash but too light for people wanting full-time employment.

Another source said experienced English teachers tended to be the only people with the requisite skills to mark written IELTS exams — a popular sideline in a notoriously lowly paid industry. She said the arrangement benefited language students by boosting their teachers’ understanding of the testing process.

IDP said the new approach would suit examiners as well as meeting its own needs.

“We’ve found that’s the sort of model that will work best for people,” said chief strategy officer Warwick Freeland.

“They’ve got a 15-hour work window so they can mesh it in with their childcare activities. The flexibility of being able to work from home at hours that suit you has been an entirely attractive aspect to examiners.”

Sources also said the new pay rate of $3 a written “item” was a significant cut from present pay rates, which are negotiated with individual testing centres. Mr Freeland acknowledged that some examiners might see remuneration changes.

“But compared to similar job classifications in teaching, it’ll be a good gig. If we don’t pay them the right amount, we won’t have anybody to do the task.”

He said the change had been motivated by a need to “move with the times”, not cut costs. “As a global organisation it enables us to control the flow of activities in a more efficient manner, so it’s a logical improvement for us.”

He said that while “clerical marking” was already performed by IDP’s 300-strong workforce in India, all examining of Australian test-takers would be undertaken in Australia. There was no proposal to automate IELTS marking, as is planned for %NAPLAN school tests.

Судя по статье, ему нужны все семёрки (Proficient level). Как нэйтив может три раза провалить IELTS ниже семёрок - это загадка, и очень слабо в это верится.

Да ладно. Учитывая, что это занимает 3 часа и заданий очень много, а человек взрослый и занимается совсем другим родом деятельности(его работа не заключается в постоянной болтовне), то в принципе зададки нет. Я думаю, что многие россияне подобный экзамен по-русскому языку тоже бы не сдали без спец.подготовки серьезной

Да ладно, там же не правила спрашивают, и не что-то специфическое. По-русскому эквивалент любой образованный носитель минимум на восьмёрки бы сдал, мне кажется (ну кроме может райтинга, там провалиться любому можно).

Так а вообще при при чем тут IELTS, если в статье сказано, что он "An Irish rower... ", а на сайте DIBP сказано
