Complaining to a bank
You have received a letter from your bank, asking you to acknowledge receipt of a bank card. However, the card was missing from the envelope. Write a letter to the bank’s head office.
In your letter:
- explain why you are writing;
- express concern about the missing card;
- ask them what they intend to do.
Dear Sir / Madam!
I am writing to let you know that I have just received letter from the bank with receipt of a bank card. The problem is there was not any card in the envelope. I do not understand how it was missed. The envelope was intact and unbroken. Likewise, my postbox was unbroken and key-locked as usually.
I would be very grateful if you could temporarily block the card just for security. I would like to know if you could to investigate this missing or if the card could be released anew. It is possible also I did not understand something and this letter might contain only receipt without any card. If it is so I apologize for any inconvenience incurred due to my letter.
I am entirely happy with the bank’s service and I would appreciate if this situation could be resolved. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully
