Нет, я имела ввиду, что без контекста непонятно как надо было писать. Вы говорите о 'other countries', но были ли они упомянуты ранее, например? Достаточно ли вы привели фактических данных и т.д.

That was my answer taken fron Cambridge 7 test 1:

The table shows the expenses on three various categories of goods in five different countries in 2002. Overall, people from the given countries spent more money on food/drinks/tobacco than on other categories of products.

At first glance we see that the highest expenditures of people from all these countries were spent on food/drinks/tobacco. Thus, Turkey and Ireland citizens spent 32.14% and 28.91% respectively on the goods from this category, while the expenses on it of Italy, Spain and Sweden citizens didn`t exceed 18.80%.

Clothing and footwear was the second biggest expenditure in presented countries. The highest amount of money on this category was spent in Italy (9%). In contrast, citizens of other four countries spent approximately 6% on clothing/footwear.
The lowest proportion of money was spent on leisure/education. The expenditures on this category made up from 1.98% in Spain to 4.35% in Turkey.

To sum up, while the major expenses of people from these countries were on food/drinks/tobacco, the minor expenditures were on leisure/education.

As most people spend a major part of their adult life at work, job satisfaction is an important element of individual wellbeing. What factors contribute to job satisfaction? How realistic is the expectation of job satisfaction for all workers?

Today, when people try to achieve a work-life balance, the work often prevails. General wellbeing of an individual, therefore, is not possible without high job satisfaction. In this essay, two factors related to job satisfaction - a suitable career path and measurable results will be analysed. Whether achieving job satisfaction is feasible for all workers will be assessed.

A number of factors can make work a satisfying and gratifying experience. Primarily, the successful choice of a career path is when the interests and talents of an individual match the activities performed in the workplace. For example, a person, naturally gifted with interpersonal skills, has a better chance of achieving higher job satisfaction as a Human Resources specialist than as an accountant. Another major factor is the personal value of one’s job. For example, my friend, who is a doctor, often mentions that the opportunity to save peoples’ lives makes his work a very rewarding career.

Although these factors are quite straightforward, it is unrealistic for all to achieve job satisfaction. Firstly, choosing the right profession is quite challenging for many people. Young adults are often not sure what they want to do in life when choosing their major at university and end up pursuing the wrong career. Secondly, economic factors play a great role when people choose their careers. One of the examples would be a talented artist, forced to work as an accountant since this job ensures a more reliable income.

In conclusion, it is clear that a correctly chosen career path and doing something rewarding are some of the key factors in achieving job satisfaction. Unfortunately, this is challenging for most individuals and unrealistic for every employee.

Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems. To what extent do you agree or dissagree? What other measures do you think might be effective?

It is undoubtedly true, that transportation substantially influences air contamination caused by the rising number of vehicles and some people believe, that in order to reduce traffic and pollution issues, petrol prices should be soared. This essay will discuss arguments both for and against the increase of petrol cost and suggest some efficient measures, which can be taken to tackle with this problem.

To a certain extent, I agree that the rise of petrol cost may lead to the reduction of vehicles on the streets. If the prices of fuel are not affordable to the upper and middle layers of society, the majority of citizens will commute by the public transport. Consequently, the decrease in the number of private cars may dramatically improve traffic issues as well as pollution problems related to transport. On the other hand, when the cost of petrol soar, it affects the prices of goods delivered by trucks from nearby regions. Subsequently, this measure may cause significant social dissatisfaction.

The best ways to solve the issue with traffic and pollution would be to forbid the use of private cars on daily basics and to provide citizens with free bicycles. The spectacular effect of these measures can be illustrated by an example of Beijing city, where it is allowed to drive vehicles with even number only on even days of the week. Meantime, the authorities established the special venues where any commuter can borrow the bicycle and return it in other place next to his or her destination afterwards.

In conclusion, governments should tackle the traffic and air contamination problems by the reduction of vehicles on the streets as well as by providing citizens with bicycles. If these measures are taken, the pollution caused by the number of cars will shrink dramatically.
