Millions of people every year move to the English-speaking countries such as Australia, Britain and America, in order to study at school, college or university. Why do so many people want to study in English? Why is English such an important international language? Give reasons for your answers.

Nowadays exist a huge numbers of students who get knowledge in the USA or Great Britain. In order to this, there are a lot of different reasons why young people study exactly in these countries. According to previous thesis, there are some reasons why English is so popular all over the world.

To begin with, English could be heard in every place of our planet. Therefore, future specialists prefer to know it better. In addition, if students study in the language which is used in their future works, they will not have problems when they get a job. For example, it would be much better to know all specials terms in English from the beginning.

The main reason why English is so well-known almost by everyone, consist in a past of Great Britain. The thing is that this country had a big numbers of colonies in the last centuries. That is why the USA, Canada and Australia as well as some other are English-speaking countries. The population of these territories is a large percent of the habitants of the planet. As a result, mostly people in the world already know English. Thus, when need to speak with someone is occurs, the process will be on the most popular language.

Taking all these points into consideration, I would say that we always need one common-spoken language and there are very significant reasons why this is English. That is why most of students prefer to get theirs degrees in English-speaking countries. In my opinion, this situation is normal and if I had opportunity to get knowledge in the most spread language I would be happy.

Should sports classes be sacrificed in High School so students can concentrate on academic subjects?

I think that the question whether universities should exclude PE from their curriculum and focus on studying different academic sciences is one that is really controversial, challenging and open for debate. Many educators firmly believe that physical education is not substantial subject in Higher School. However, some experts claim that physical activities and sports play essential role in education. In this essay I will analyze these points of view and present my opinion.

On the one hand, there are many reason why students should take part in sports activities. One of the most obvious advantages of it is the case that all students need good health to succeed in studying. It is well-known fact that many kinds of sport such as swimming, yoga and jogging are exceptionally useful for health. Moreover, I have recently read an article in a magazine about this issue. According to the report in the article some well-known scientists are sure that there is a direct link between the performance of our brain and your fitness. As a matter of fact, the better health you have the more effective you learn. After analyzing this facts it is clear why many support this point of view.

On the other hand, some teachers suppose that students should avoid spending time on PE. First of all, they strongly believe that if a student focus only on subjects which are connected directly with their future speciality they will not waste their time. Unfortunately, this opinion is very common between old teachers. So it is clear why some people gravitate towards this point of view.

After analyzing everything mentioned above I am inclined to think that physical education is vital. It is important to emphasize, that only combination intellectual and physical activities will give best result.

I think that high technologies has dramatically changed people’s life. However, despite the fact that some people feel that these technologies empower them in many ways others prefer to avoid using them. In this essay I will analyze these points of view and present my opinion.

There are many reasons why modern means such as computers, the high-speed Internet and cell phones have boosted quality of our everyday life. One of the most obvious advantages of them is an opportunity to communicate so effortlessly. Take for example mobile phones which allow you have a conversation with a person wherever you are. Can you imagine it say 20 years ago? Another substantial aspect of it is that the Internet play huge role in developing E-commerce. These days, people can afford themselves to buy different goods or take advantage of convenient services due to the Internet. For example, some people buy air or train tickets on special WEB-sites on the internet. As a result they don’t waste their time in queues and sometimes even get a discount. Thus, it is clear why many people gravitate towards this point of view.

On the other hand, more old generation of people tend to think that many modern technologies have brought us some issues. For instance, many parents quite often suffer if their children don’t visit them but simply call by a cell phone. It is obvious that most old people prefer a face-to-face conversation to using up-to-date gadgets because their need emotional contact.

After analyzing everything mentioned above I am inclined to think that high technology have greatly contributed in development our civilization. However, we should pay attention on possible negative consequences and try to find ways to overcome them.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you in connection (Runglish) with the problem happened after buying a digital camera (a really strange phrase!) Canon EOS 450D in your duty-free market (shop) in the Dubai airport. I've got mixed feelings about your letter. On the one hand, the organisation is pretty good. On the other hand, there are too many mistakes and quite a lot of 'unnaturalness', which may lead to poor readability.
By 'unnaturalness' I mean the words that are supposed to be OK but they are not because this is not the way the idea would be expressed in English, e.g. 'assistance with my trouble' -> I hope you will be able to assist me in the matter / I hope you will be able to resolve the problem/matter / you assisstance in resolving the problem will be appreciated, etc

The word 'orphan' cannot be used in the given context.

On the whole, I'd say it's around 6 or even 6.5 but certainly not 7.

The student who study from the school to university get benefit less and contribute less too, than those of student who go to travel or job and get skills and experience before going high. Do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, it is very common that some students prefer to travel or even work after school instead of continuing education. Some people think, this prepared the young adults for future life, especially for enrolling university, by acquire sufficient skill and experience. At the same time others claim, that only graduated students can bring valuable donation into society. I think, that this question is a controversial one and open for debate. Personally, I cannot disagree with the second opinion. This essay will prove it in the following paragraphs.

First of all, let`s stand into position of former students who have just finished school. It is become obvious, that if you enroll university after school immediately, it will be easier to learn there due to the acquired knowledge are still fresh and simply for recalling. Furthermore, it means that these students will be learning better than who make gaps between education. Thus, it can be concluded that not only grades will be higher but also the contributions and benefits for community.

Secondly, people with high education are more required by labor market than their compatriots who do not have it. Moreover, if you are doing your work professionally, you will cut expenses for your company and improve efficiency. So, it is obvious that only graduated workers are able to manage their work in this way. In other words, immature personnel would consume more efforts from companies and give less feedback.

In brief, in spite of some exceptions, the general trend is that the sooner you accomplish high education, the more benefits you will get and more donation for humanity you can contribute. This is my point of view, which I am convinced.
